This uses a page-based plugin with a common placeholder, where each video is placed on its own page. Simply a video website within the main website. Easy to manage and maintain without code: Design Notes
For the Page Video Player, create a standard Xara website, all pages the same where the page is proportionally scaled to your chosen video size. Most common is 1920px(w) times 1080px(h). Filename the index page something like “videosource”. This is the background that will be visible when no video is playing and the “holding page” where the video will appear when called.New page: create a placeholder the same size as its incoming video - in this example, different sizes of incoming videos do not matter as long as they do not exceed the placeholder boundary. Usually, best to stay with a standard 1920 x 1080 to start. Add the following placeholder HTML body code for each page and video:<video id="videoname" width="100%" height="100%"controls playsinline autoplay disablepictureinpicture controlsList="nodownload";><source src="https://mydomain/subfolder/videoname.mp4" type="video/mp4"></video>Source can be local, but to reduce load times and keep it simple, better to create a directory on the hosted server and call each video from there. When the videos have been added, simply publish the video plugin to the same directory as your main website.Return to the page on which you want to create the video popup and create a placeholder the same size as your video plugin page. This becomes an iframe with the following (or similar code)<iframe src="videosource.htm" name="box" height="100%" width="100%" style="border:none;"></iframe>
