Flexible Blocks
There are two photos in a flexible block above.
When the browser transitions to a mobile format, the
photos align in a vertical format to accommodate to
reduction in browser width, By using a flexible block
one can adjust the padding and object margins in
EACH variant to better format each variant.
Objects within a flexible group can be re-ordered as
as required and the re-ordering will automatically
apply in other variants. A word of caution: make sure
when an object is added to a flexible group that the
dimensions are no greater than the size of the
flexible group. Else lots of fiddling to sort it out!
Flexible Blocks Part II
Flexible blocks allows a designer to group different
objects together, re-order them and have them
transition to a mobile format as one group. Where the
requirement is to organise objects in a free format,
that is without a need for auto-spacing, it is simpler to
use a Freehand Block. The example being a Hero
image where any objects can be placed on top of the
hero image in any position of the designer’s choosing.
The sea image has been truncated in the mobile
format to give a more balanced visual effect.
